Hey guys :) My name is Leah. I am 21 years old and am living with my soul mate in New Mexico, USA. Writing letters is one of my favorite things - I find them to be much more personal than e-mails and I love the anticipation of a letter arriving in the mail and getting to know new people. :) I have several pen pals already and am very good at keeping in touch!

In my free time I enjoy taking photos, scrapbooking/smashing, playing guitar, listening to music (mostly rock and metal), drawing, doodling, painting, dyeing my hair crazy colors and knitting scarves. :)

I love Eeyore and the Cookie Monster, Tool, anything purple, traveling, Bavarian German food, just about any movie with Tom Hanks or Johnny Depp and painting custom canvas shoes for little kids with cancer.

Normally I wouldn’t do something like this. At least not on this site.

My friend Marissa lost her eight month old babygirl Sunday night and has been dealing with a lot of stress and sadness. Although her friends and family are trying all they can to help and comfort her one thing is really weighing heavy on her heart. The funeral for her child, and the cost of the tombstone/casket is going to be 3,500 dollars. Her family and herself don’t have that kind of money at the moment. We’re trying everything we can to help Marissa during this time and she could really use any help that she could get. Even if you could donate a penny i’m sure it would help. Even if you just want to send her a card, quote, ANYTHING I’m sure it will at least ease the pain. Even just a reblog would help.

It’s really up to you if you would like to donate something to my friend. If you do I’m going to write your name down on a list and do something really nice for you. That being said I’m sorry to the winners of the Giveaway who haven’t gotten their packages. I’m trying really hard at this time to send them off and hopefully will ASAP.

I’m actually late in sending out the early one but two will be sent out. One hopefully this week, and the bigger one sometime in August. The notebook will travel from person to person (I will provide the address of the next person to send the journal to) I request that those who have the journal let me know when the get it and send it. Also, I request that photos of the journal are taken somewhere near where you live and sent to me so I can put it on the traveling notebook page. :) Once the journal is filled it will be sent back to me and I will upload photos of all the pages for everyone. :) Also, you can fill up to two or three pages with whatever you feel like sharing. :)

My given name is Nicholas but I answer to many names. I’m currently 27 human years old and I’ve been a penfriend for the past 14 years. I have a quite a few penfriends but I’m looking to start a journal & neither of them are interested. Lol.

I’m essentially looking for someone new to write to around the ages of 25 to 35. I actually reply to letters quite promptly but I am totally understanding of delayed responses from others. Life always gets in the way :) I also want a penfriend that understands that romance is not my desire whatsoever.

I’m a little witty, very caring & sincere. I skip lines when I write on college ruled paper because I love the way that my G’s, J’s, P’s, Y’s & Z’s dip down. I only have respect for the left margin. I don’t really do stickers but if I get slightly distracted from writing, I’ll doodle something in the corners of a page or two. When I get frantic about an idea, my handwriting gets a little sloppy. I don’t time stamp my letters. I put roman numerals on the bottom left hand corner of the letters that I receive. I’ve been known to send nice gifts, either hand made or purchased with the penfriend in mind, at random moments. Sometimes, I don’t wait for responses to write another letter. Oh and I’ve known all 11 of my current penfriends for more than 5 years. So yeah…that kinda sums me up, a little. (((peace)))
